Consultations are private and unhurried, and there is never any obligation to book a treatment on the day. Please ask about consultation policy when you book, as it can vary by treatment type.
We accept credit cards and cash. Pricing is always discussed clearly with you before treatment is scheduled.
Pricing depends on the treatment, the product used and the area treated — injectables are priced per unit or syringe, device treatments per session or course. We give you a clear quote at consultation before anything is scheduled.
Most are very tolerable. Facials and IPL involve minimal discomfort, injectables use very fine needles and numbing where appropriate, and microneedling-based treatments use topical numbing applied beforehand. Patients frequently describe our treatments as almost painless.
Many treatments have none — HydraFacial, dermaplaning, IPL and most injectables let you return to normal activity the same day. Microneedling, Morpheus8 and medium-depth peels involve a few days of redness or flaking. We will tell you exactly what to expect before you book.
Many are, with the correct protocol and settings. Microneedling, HydraFacial, radiofrequency treatments and Morpheus8 are generally well tolerated. Light-based treatments such as IPL require particular care and a conservative approach. We assess your skin type at consultation and test patch where indicated.
Injectables, most light-based and energy treatments and several wellness therapies are not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Some gentle facials remain appropriate. Please tell us so we can advise you safely.
It varies by treatment: neuromodulators three to four months, hyaluronic acid filler six to eighteen months by area, collagen-based device results twelve to eighteen months, and facials four to six weeks. Longevity also depends on your skin, your lifestyle and your sun protection.
Courses of treatment are planned where a course is clinically appropriate — for example laser hair removal or a microneedling series. We do not sell packages a patient does not need. Ask us about current options at your consultation.
Call us. You will leave with written aftercare and a direct number, and we would much rather hear from you early than have you wait and worry. Post-treatment concerns are reviewed at no charge.
Yes. Olive also operates clinics in Buena Park, California and San Diego, California. Protocols and standards are shared across all three, so your care can continue at any location.
