Medical facials and skin resurfacing in Irvine
HydraFacial, custom medical facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, microneedling and structured acne programmes — matched to what your skin needs today.
Healthy skin is what makes everything else work
No injectable or laser produces a good result on compromised skin. Barrier function, hydration and inflammation come first — always.
Our facial treatments are not spa add-ons. Each one is chosen for a specific job: decongesting and hydrating, resurfacing dead cell build-up, calming active breakouts, or stimulating collagen. We will tell you which of those your skin actually needs, and how often.
Most patients settle into a rhythm of a treatment every four to six weeks alongside a simple, sustainable home routine. That combination outperforms occasional expensive treatments almost every time.
- Skin analysis at every appointment, not just the first
- Treatment intensity matched to your barrier, not to a menu
- Honest home-care advice, including what you can stop buying
- Safe protocols for deeper skin tones and sensitive skin
Facials, peels and skin resurfacing
HydraFacial
Our single most-booked treatment. HydraFacial uses a patented vortex tip to cleanse and exfoliate, painlessly extract congestion, and then infuse the skin with hydrating and antioxidant serums — all in one session, with no downtime at all.
It suits almost every skin type and is the treatment we most often recommend before an event, because the result is immediate: clearer pores, smoother texture and a genuine glow rather than a temporary flush.
Boosters can be added for specific concerns such as pigmentation, congestion or fine lines, and it pairs well with dermaplaning in the same visit.
Signature Custom Facial
A full-length, fully customised facial built around your skin on the day. Cleansing, exfoliation, extractions where needed, a treatment mask, massage and finishing products — the intensity dialled up or down to suit your barrier.
This is the treatment for patients who want both a clinical result and an hour of genuine calm. It is also where we do a lot of our best diagnostic work, because an hour with your skin tells us more than any consultation form.
We will finish with specific home-care guidance and, if appropriate, a recommendation for what to book next.
Chemical Peels
Controlled exfoliation that accelerates cell turnover to improve tone, texture, pigmentation and congestion. We select the acid, the strength and the number of passes based on your skin type, your history and how much recovery time you can accommodate.
Light peels give a refreshed finish with almost no visible peeling and can be repeated in a short series. Medium-depth peels do more for pigmentation and texture, with several days of flaking that we schedule around your calendar.
For deeper skin tones we take a conservative, prepared approach with priming products, because avoiding post-inflammatory pigmentation matters far more than achieving a dramatic single result.
Dermaplaning
A precise, painless exfoliation that removes dead surface cells and fine vellus hair with a sterile blade. Skin is instantly smoother, makeup sits flawlessly, and active products penetrate noticeably better afterwards.
It is one of the best pre-event treatments available, and it combines particularly well with a HydraFacial or a light peel in the same appointment.
The hair grows back exactly as it was — dermaplaning does not make it coarser or darker, despite the persistent myth.
Microdermabrasion
Mechanical resurfacing that lifts away the outermost layer of dull, dead skin to reveal fresher skin underneath. It refines texture, softens the look of enlarged pores and helps flat, superficial pigmentation fade with repetition.
Because it is gentle and highly controllable, microdermabrasion is a good entry point for patients who are new to clinical skin treatment or nervous about downtime.
Results are cumulative — a short course spaced two to four weeks apart delivers considerably more than a single session.
Microneedling
Collagen induction therapy. Fine, sterile needles create thousands of controlled micro-channels that trigger your skin's own repair response — laying down new collagen and elastin over the following weeks and months.
It is one of the most effective treatments we offer for acne scarring, enlarged pores, crepey texture and fine lines, and it is safe across a wide range of skin tones when performed at appropriate depth.
Expect redness like a sunburn for around 24 to 48 hours. Results build gradually across a course of three to six sessions spaced four weeks apart.
Acne Treatment Programme
Acne rarely responds to a single treatment. We build a structured programme: calm the inflammation, clear the congestion, correct the home routine that may be aggravating it, and only then address any scarring or pigmentation left behind.
In clinic that usually means a sequence of gentle extractions, targeted peels and, where suitable, IPL or LED to reduce bacterial load and redness. At home it means simplifying — many patients arrive using far too many active products at once.
We set expectations honestly at the outset: meaningful change typically takes eight to twelve weeks, and if we believe you need a dermatologist and prescription therapy, we will say so.
